Cool and Roll: Immediately after baking, invert the cake onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar. Peel off the parchment paper and roll the cake (with the towel) from the short end. Let it cool completely.
Whip Cream: In a bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Unroll: Gently unroll the cooled cake and spread the whipped cream evenly over the surface. Roll the cake back up without the towel. Place seam-side down on a serving platter.
